The decision will inspire confidence in a community wronged both by the nature and human kind. One swallow does not make a summer. But positive developments like the appointment of a Councillor or a principal provide the crucial life line for the community, always under seize; the worst enemy being not the police, law or media but the Society at a large. Apart from law guaranteeing their rights, there is an urgent need for a radical change in the way the Society perceives transgenders.
